How it works

1. Activate Marvin using Cryptic Trilobite's second ability by paying 1 and tapping it, putting a +1/+1 counter on Marvin.
2. Activate Marvin using Cryptic Trilobite's first ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding CC that can only be spent to activate abilities.
3. Activate Marvin using Farmstead Gleaner's ability by paying 2 and untapping Marvin, putting a +1/+1 counter on Marvin.
4. Activate Marvin using Cryptic Trilobite's first ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding CC that can only be spent to activate abilities.
5. Repeat.

By bridging several activated abilities through Marvin, Murderous Mimic, this setup creates a self-sustaining engine built on mana conversion and untapping. Cryptic Trilobite provides both the raw mana generation by spending its counters and the ability to tap and invest mana back into counters, while Farmstead Gleaner steps in with its untap symbol ability to reset Marvin for the next cycle. Because Cryptic Trilobite's generated mana can be funneled directly into these ability activations, the loop feeds itself endlessly to accumulate infinite +1/+1 counters and infinite restricted colorless mana.
