How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing any other creature.
2. When the creature dies as a Cleric due to Leyline of Transformation, Rotlung Reanimator triggers, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
3. Repeat.

This elegant loop transforms the humble act of sacrifice into an endless cycle of rebirth and mana generation, all anchored by Leyline of Transformation reshaping the battlefield. Because that enchantment bestows the Cleric type upon every creature you control, any random token or creature you sacrifice to Phyrexian Altar immediately qualifies as a dying Cleric. That death triggers Rotlung Reanimator to produce a fresh 2/2 Zombie creature token, which itself becomes a Cleric ready to be fed back into the Altar. The result is an infinite engine of colored mana and unending death and entry triggers, ready to overwhelm your opponents in Commander, Legacy, Oathbreaker, or Vintage.
