How it works

1. Cast Ebondeath from your graveyard by paying due to Green Goblin.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Ebondeath, adding .
3. When Ebondeath dies, Zahur triggers, creating a creature token.
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the creature token, adding .
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the graveyard into a relentless engine of sacrifice. With Norman Osborn transformed into Green Goblin, spells cast from your graveyard enjoy a massive two-mana discount, allowing you to deploy Ebondeath, Dracolich for a mere two black mana. Once Ebondeath enters the battlefield, you can sacrifice it to Phyrexian Altar for mana, triggering Zahur, Glory's Past's max-speed ability to spit out a tapped 2/2 black Zombie token whenever a nontoken creature dies. You then feed that newly minted Zombie right back into Phyrexian Altar, generating the mana needed to loop Ebondeath endlessly from your graveyard.
