How it works
- Activate Dino DNA by paying 6, creating a token copy of Phylath that is a 6/6 Dinosaur.
- When the Phylath token enters the battlefield, its first ability triggers, creating at least five 0/1 Plant creature tokens.
- Activate Phyrexian Altar six times by sacrificing the Phylath token and five Plants, adding 6.
- Repeat.
- If you control six or more basic lands, this combo nets infinite colorless mana and creature tokens.
This ingenious loop begins with Dino DNA acting as a cloning vat to repeatedly bring back Phylath, World Sculptor as a massive 6/6 Dinosaur. Each time the Phylath token enters the battlefield, its ability floods your board with a swarm of 0/1 Plant tokens, provided you control enough basic lands to fuel its entrance. That is where Phyrexian Altar comes in, turning your freshly minted Phylath and its Plant companions into a steady stream of mana to pay for Dino DNA's hefty activation cost all over again.
