How it works

1. Cast Whitemane Lion by paying 1.
2. When Whitemane Lion enters the battlefield, it and Arahbo trigger.
3. Resolve the Whitemane Lion trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Arahbo trigger, creating a 1/1 Cat and a 1/1 Frog creature token.
5. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing the Cat and Frog, adding 1.
6. Repeat.

This delightful loop centers on the self-returning nature of Whitemane Lion, which continually bounces itself back to your hand upon entering the battlefield. While this usually just resets a creature, here it triggers Arahbo, the First Fang to generate a Cat token, which Quina, Qu Gourmet amplifies by generously tossing in a Frog token alongside it. You can then feed both newly minted creatures to Phyrexian Altar to generate the exact mana needed to cast Whitemane Lion all over again.
