How it works

  1. Activate Cauldron of Essence by paying 1B manaG mana, tapping it and sacrificing another creature.
  2. When the creature dies, Cauldron of Essence triggers, and Dross Scorpion triggers if the creature was an artifact.
  3. Resolve the Cauldron of Essence trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
  4. Resolve the Dross Scorpion trigger, if applicable, untapping an artifact.
  5. Resolve the Cauldron of Essence ability from step 1, returning Threefold Thunderhulk from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  6. When Threefold Thunderhulk enters, it triggers, creating three creature tokens.
  7. Activate Phyrexian Altar three times by sacrificing Threefold Thunderhulk and two tokens, adding 1B manaG mana.
  8. When Threefold Thunderhulk and the tokens die, Dross Scorpion triggers three times, untapping Cauldron of Essence and two other artifacts.
  9. Repeat.
