How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Shambling Ghast, adding 1.
2. When Shambling Ghast dies, it and Rakdos trigger.
3. Resolve the Shambling Ghast trigger, creating a Treasure token.
4. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
5. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Shambling Ghast from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
6. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, exiling Shambling Ghast from the top of your library with the ability to cast it until your next turn.
7. Cast Shambling Ghast from exile by paying 1.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop turns your graveyard into a revolving door by using Phyrexian Altar to sacrifice Shambling Ghast for mana, triggering its death ability to create a Treasure token. That Treasure provides the black mana needed to activate Haunted Crossroads, placing Shambling Ghast right back on top of your library. Meanwhile, Rakdos, the Muscle capitalizes on every single sacrifice by exiling the creature from the top of your library so you can seamlessly recast it, fueling an endless chain of deaths and storm count.
