How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Forsaken Miner, adding .
2. When Forsaken Miner dies, Scavenger's Talent's second ability triggers, targeting an opponent.
3. When you commit that crime, Forsaken Miner triggers, causing you to pay to return it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Scavenger's Talent trigger, causing an opponent to mill two cards.
5. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in recursive recycling, using Phyrexian Altar as both the executioner and the mana source to fuel Forsaken Miner's return. The secret engine piece is Scavenger's Talent at Level 2, which turns every single permanent you sacrifice into a targeted crime—milling your opponent while effortlessly satisfying the Miner's reanimation condition.
