How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Forsaken Miner, adding .
2. When Forsaken Miner dies, Tresserhorn's Lord triggers, causing you to draw a card.
3. Lyla triggers, targeting a creature an opponent controls.
4. Forsaken Miner triggers, causing you to pay to return Forsaken Miner from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Resolve the Lyla trigger.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop starts by feeding Forsaken Miner to the maw of Phyrexian Altar, generating the black mana needed to fuel the engine while sending the Miner to the graveyard. The death of Forsaken Miner triggers Tresserhorn's Lord, providing the crucial card draw that lets you net a card.
