How it works

1. Defeat Invasion of Amonkhet
2. Invasion of Amonkhet triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
3. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Pakpatiq that is a 4/4 Zombie.
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Lazotep Convert, adding one mana of any color.
5. When Lazotep Convert dies, it triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
6. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Pakpatiq that is a 4/4 Zombie.
7. Repeat from step 4.

This loop relies on Lazotep Convert—the back face of Invasion of Amonkhet—entering the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Pakpatiq, Deepest Epoch, taking advantage of the legendary rule by keeping the new copy while sending the original to the graveyard. Because Ojer Pakpatiq's death ability triggers when it dies and returns it transformed with three time counters, but the copy enters the battlefield as the front face instead, you can continually feed the cloned Ojer Pakpatiq into Phyrexian Altar to sacrifice it for mana. Each time it dies, the card's persistent replacement effect lets you restart the process by casting Invasion of Amonkhet transformed as a fresh Lazotep Convert copy, generating an endless cycle of creature deaths, enters-the-battlefield triggers, and colored mana.
