How it works
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the persist creature.
- When the persist creature dies, it and Dragon Appeasement trigger.
- Resolve the Dragon Appeasement trigger, causing you to draw a card.
- Resolve the persist creature's trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
- When the persist creature enters the battlefield, Olivia triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature and causing you to discard a card.
- Repeat.
This looping engine turns a creature with persist into a self-sustaining sacrifice machine fueled by Phyrexian Altar for mana. Every time your creature returns from the graveyard, Dragon Appeasement lets you turn that death into fresh card draw to keep your hand full. Meanwhile, Olivia, Mobilized로 War (Olivia, Mobilized for War) smoothly cancels out the creature's crippling -1/-1 counter by slapping a +1/+1 counter on it upon entry, resetting its resilience indefinitely while netting you an endless stream of self-discard and color-fixing mana.
