How it works

3. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Shilgengar, Sire of Famine to sacrifice Kobolds of Kher Keep, generating Blood tokens that can later be cracked if needed, though here the real engine is the graveyard recursion loop itself. Thanks to Leonardo, Sewer Samurai, you can continually recast the zero-mana Kobolds of Kher Keep directly from your graveyard during your turn. Ordinarily, Leonardo would stamp those returning creatures with finality counters to exile them upon death, but Solemnity acts as the ultimate safeguard—its static ability prevents counters of any kind from ever being placed on your permanents. This lets the Kobolds enter the battlefield completely clean, ready to be sacrificed to Shilgengar, Sire of Famine all over again to churn out infinite triggers.
