How it works

1. Activate the creature with persist by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 3.
2. When the creature dies, Solemnity triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. Activate Lotus Ring's equip ability by paying 3, attaching it to the persist creature.
4. Repeat.

This loop relies on Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu to tap for mana and grant your creatures the haste needed to immediately activate their own abilities—specifically, a creature equipped with Lotus Ring. When you sacrifice that creature to the Ring's ability for three mana, Solemnity steps in to prevent the creature's persist mechanic from receiving a -1/-1 counter as it returns from the graveyard, allowing it to enter the battlefield fresh every single time. You then use the mana generated by the sacrifice to pay for Lotus Ring's equip cost, attaching it back to the creature so the cycle can begin anew.
