How it works
- Activate Nykthos by paying 2 and tapping it, adding at least eight .
- Cast Whispers of the Muse with buyback by paying 5, causing you to draw a card and return Whispers of the Muse to your hand.
- Activate Mind Over Matter by discarding a card, untapping Nykthos.
- Repeat.
This loop transforms a high-devotion board state into an endless engine of card draw and mana. With enough devotion to blue to make Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx a net-positive mana generator, you cast Whispers of the Muse with its buyback cost paid to draw a card and loop the instant right back to your hand. Mind Over Matter then uses that drawn card as fuel, letting you discard it to untap Nykthos so you can tap it all over again for another massive burst of mana.
