How it works

1. Activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding at least 1.
2. Activate Mind over Matter by discarding a card, tapping target creature an opponent controls.
3. Hylda of the Icy Crown triggers, causing you to pay 1 to scry 2 and draw two cards.
4. Activate Mind over Matter by discarding a card, untapping the mana-producing permanent.
5. Repeat.
6. You may also repeat this loop during each turn.

This clever loop turns the discard outlet of Mind Over Matter into a relentless engine by targeting your opponents' creatures to keep tapping them down. Each time you force a creature to tap using Mind Over Matter, Hylda of the Icy Crown happily triggers, letting you pay the mana you generated to scry and draw cards—a process heavily accelerated by Teferi's Ageless Insight doubling every card drawn. As you churn through your deck, you simply discard extra cards back into Mind Over Matter to untap your mana source, repeating the sequence until every enemy creature is permanently locked down.
