How it works

1. Activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding at least 2.
2. Activate Nimbleclaw Adept by tapping it, untapping Isochron Scepter and the mana-producing permanent.
3. Activate Isochron Scepter by paying 2 and tapping it, casting a copy of Ephemerate without paying its mana cost.
4. Resolve Ephemerate, blinking Nimbleclaw Adept.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Isochron Scepter into an engine of endless motion by having it imprint Ephemerate, allowing you to repeatedly cast the blink spell without paying its mana cost. Each iteration is fueled by the mana you generate alongside Nimbleclaw Adept, whose sorcery-speed untap ability resets both your mana source and the Scepter with every cycle. Because Ephemerate blinks the Adept itself, the creature returns fresh and ready to untap your board all over again once you resume your turn. Meanwhile, Anger rests quietly in your graveyard, granting your creatures haste to ensure that any additional pieces you bring along can act immediately on the battlefield.
