How it works

1. Declare Magus of the Candelabra as an attacker.
2. Activate Maze of Ith by tapping it, untapping Magus of the Candelabra.
3. Activate Cabal Coffers's second ability by paying 2 and tapping it, adding for each basic Swamp you control.
4. Activate Magus of the Candelabra by paying 2 and tapping it, untapping Maze of Ith and Cabal Coffers.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This brilliant mana loop turns Maze of Ith's defensive utility into a powerful offensive engine. By sending Magus of the Candelabra into the red zone and targeting it with Maze of Ith's untap ability, you protect your wizard from combat damage while simultaneously resetting its activation. With enough Swamps on your board, tapping Cabal Coffers generates a massive pool of black mana, more than enough to fuel Magus of the Candelabra's ability to untap both the Cabal Coffers and the Maze of Ith itself. The result is an endless cascade of untaps and black mana, giving you total command of your lands' potential.
