How it works

1. Activate The Notary Hobbits by tapping it, adding at least CC
2. Activate Aphetto Alchemist by tapping it, targeting The Notary Hobbits.
3. Battlemage's Bracers triggers, causing you to pay 1 to copy Aphetto Alchemist's ability, targeting Aphetto Alchemist.
4. Resolve both Aphetto Alchemist abilities, untapping it and The Notary Hobbits.
5. Repeat.

This delightful loop uses Battlemage's Bracers to turn a single untap into a cascading engine, fueled by the multiplicative mana of The Notary Hobbits. When Aphetto Alchemist taps to untap The Notary Hobbits, the Bracers allow you to pay {1} to copy that ability, targeting Aphetto Alchemist itself. As both permanents untap simultaneously, you can repeat the process indefinitely, generating an infinite surplus of colorless mana from The Notary Hobbits's tap ability along the way.
