How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Workshop Warchief, adding CC.
2. Workshop Warchief dies, triggering itself and Nim Deathmantle.
3. Resolve the Workshop Warchief trigger, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Beast, adding CC.
5. Resolve the Nim Deathmantle trigger from step 2, causing you to pay 4 to return Workshop Warchief from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
6. Workshop Warchief enters the battlefield, causing you to gain three life.
7. Repeat.
