How it works

1. Cast Rescue Skiff by paying 5.
2. When Rescue Skiff enter the battlefield, it triggers, targeting Sharuum.
3. Holding priority, activate Ravenous Intruder by sacrificing Rescue Skiff.
4. Resolve the Rescue Skiff trigger, returning Sharuum from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. When Sharuum enters the battlefield, it triggers, targeting Rescue Skiff.
6. Holding priority, activate Ravenous Intruder by sacrificing Sharuum.
7. Resolve the Sharuum trigger, returning Rescue Skiff from your graveyard to the battlefield.
8. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop relies on a clever recursion cycle between Sharuum the Hegemon and Rescue Skiff, both of which possess enter-the-battlefield abilities capable of pulling the other straight out of the graveyard. Because Ravenous Intruder acts as a ready sacrifice outlet, you can send whichever piece is currently on the battlefield to the yard just in time to catch it with the incoming trigger of the other. The Intruder happily accepts these endless offerings by growing larger with every iteration, turning the back-and-forth dance into an unstoppable engine of death and sacrifice triggers.
