How it works

1. Deal combat damage using a Rogue
2. Cast Notorious Throng for its prowl cost by paying 5, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Move to your next turn.
4. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying 1.
5. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get EEE.
6. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying EEEEE, sacrificing a creature with mana value 2 or less, and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning Shipwreck Dowser from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. When Shipwreck Dowser enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Notorious Throng from your graveyard to your hand.
8. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying 1.
9. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get EEE.
10. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying at most E, sacrificing Shipwreck Dowser, and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning a creature with mana value 1 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
11. Repeat.

This clever loop begins after you leverage a Rogue to connect in combat, allowing you to cast Notorious Throng for its prowl cost and secure an extra turn. Once in your next turn, you deploy Chthonian Nightmare to cash in its fresh energy for graveyard recursion, pulling back Shipwreck Dowser. The Dowser's entrance triggers to hand you back the Notorious Throng, while Chthonian Nightmare's flexible activation cost lets you bounce itself back to your hand alongside sacrificing and re-deploying pieces to sustain the loop indefinitely.
