How it works

1. Activate Ghired by tapping it, creating a token copy of any creature token you control that entered the battlefield this turn.
2. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
3. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing the creature token.
4. When the token dies, Ghired triggers, untapping itself.
5. Resolve the Blasting Station ability, dealing 1 damage to any target.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds into a lethal engine by leveraging its haste and its ability to tap and replicate creature tokens that entered the turn. By equipping it with Thornbite Staff, you gain the ability to deal damage while setting up a death-triggered untap, though the heavy lifting of cycling the tokens is done by sacrificing them to Blasting Station. Every time the token copy is sacrificed to Blasting Station, the station untaps itself thanks to its own trigger, while the creature's death triggers Thornbite Staff to untap the Staff—leaving you free to repeat the process indefinitely for infinite damage, death triggers, and token generation.
