How it works

1. Activate a basic Forest and Plains by tapping them, adding .
2. Activate Earthcraft twice by tapping Lurrus and Saffi, untapping the basic Forest and Plains.
3. Activate Saffi by sacrificing it, targeting Lurrus.
4. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Lurrus.
5. When Lurrus dies, Saffi triggers, returning Lurrus from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Lurrus enters the battlefield, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
7. Resolve the Blasting Station ability from step 4, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
8. Cast Saffi from your graveyard by paying .
9. When Saffi enters the battlefield, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
10. Repeat.

This brilliant engine relies on Saffi Eriksdotter's self-sacrifice to shield Lurrus of the Dream-Den from permanent death, letting the beloved Companion return immediately whenever it hits the graveyard. Earthcraft provides the vital mana-generation engine by turning our creatures into untapped basic lands, while Blasting Station acts as the ultimate win condition by serving as both the sacrifice outlet and the damage source. Best of all, once Lurrus is on the battlefield, its ability to cast permanents of mana value 2 or less from the graveyard allows Saffi to be continuously recast for {G}{W}, fueling an endless loop of sacrifices and triggers that blasts opponents out of the game.
