How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, it triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to your commander's ability granted to it by Master Chef.
3. When the persist creature enters the battlefield, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
4. Resolve the Blasting Station ability from step 1, dealing 1 damage to any target.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns any creature with persist into an endless engine of destruction by exploiting the clever math of counters. Thanks to Master Chef granting your commander the ability to give arriving creatures an extra +1/+1 counter, that counter immediately cancels out the -1/+1 counter that a persist creature would normally return with. You simply sacrifice that creature to Blasting Station to deal a point of damage, and every time the creature re-enters the battlefield, Blasting Station's triggered ability untaps itself so you can repeat the process indefinitely.
