How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When the persist creature enters, Blasting Station and Cathars' Crusade trigger.
4. Resolve the Cathars' Crusade trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
5. Resolve the Blasting Station trigger, untapping it.
6. Resolve the Blasting Station ability from step 1.
7. Repeat

This elegant loop turns a persistent creature into an endless engine of destruction by pairing it with Blasting Station's sacrifice outlet and untap trigger. The secret to sustaining the cycle lies in Cathars' Crusade, whose anthem effect places a +1/+1 counter on your creatures whenever one enters the battlefield; this immediately neutralizes the -1/+1 counter that a persist creature returns with, resetting its mortality so it can be sacrificed to Blasting Station all over again. As the loop repeats, you rack up infinite damage, creature sacrifices, and enter-the-battlefield triggers while your board grows overwhelmingly large.
