How it works

  1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Puppeteer Clique.
  2. When Puppeteer Clique dies, its persist ability and Szarel trigger.
  3. Resolve the persist trigger, returning Puppeteer Clique from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  4. When Puppeteer Clique enters, it and Blasting Station trigger.
  5. Resolve the Puppeteer Clique trigger, putting a creature card from an opponent's graveyard onto the battlefield under your control.
  6. When the creature enters, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
  7. Holding priority, activate Blasting Station by sacrificing the creature returned in step 5.
  8. When the creature dies, Szarel triggers, putting a number of +1/+1 counters on Puppeteer Clique.
  9. Resolve the Blasting Station ability from step 7.
  10. Resolve the Blasting Station trigger from step 4, untapping it.
  11. Resolve the Szarel trigger from step 2, putting a number of +1/+1 counters on another creature you control.
  12. Resolve the Blasting Station ability from step 1.
  13. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Blasting Station as both the sacrificial outlet and the win condition, dealing infinite damage by repeatedly recycling creatures. Puppeteer Clique fuels this engine by entering the battlefield to pull threats from your opponents' graveyards, which Blasting Station can immediately sacrifice while untapping itself from the new arrival. Meanwhile, Szarel, Genesis Shepherd turns every sacrifice into a steady stream of +1/+1 counters that can grow your board while helping counteract any persistence counters—though Puppeteer Clique's persist mechanic naturally brings it back regardless, letting you loop the entire process endlessly.
