How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Puppeteer Clique
2. When Puppeteer Clique dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Puppeteer Clique enters, it, Blasting Station and Stalwart Successor trigger.
4. Resolve the Puppeteer Clique trigger, putting a creature from an opponent's graveyard onto the battlefield under your control.
5. Resolve the Blasting Station trigger, untapping it.
6. Resolve the Stalwart Successor trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Puppeteer Clique
7. Resolve the Blasting Station ability.
8. Repeat.

This lethal loop is orchestrated by Blasting Station, which gladly accepts the sacrifice of Puppeteer Clique and deals a point of damage while repeatedly untapping itself every time a creature enters the battlefield. As Puppeteer Clique dies and triggers its persist ability, it returns to the battlefield bearing a -1/-1 counter, which normally would spell doom for its recursion. However, Stalwart Successor cleverly steps in with a crucial static and triggered ability: the moment that first counter is placed on the Clique, the Successor steps forward to reward it with a +1/+1 counter, immediately neutralizing the -1/-1 counter and resetting the persist condition. This ingenious dance not only clears the path to endlessly loot your opponents' graveyards for every creature card they hold, but also finishes the job with an infinite stream of sacrifices, damage, and death triggers.
