How it works

  1. Cast Herd Baloth by paying its mana cost.
  2. When Scurry Oak enters, Blasting Station triggers, untapping itself.
  3. When Herd Baloth enters, the effect that adds +1/+1 counters to entering creatures also triggers or applies its replacement effect, putting at least one +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
  4. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token.
  5. When the creature token enters, Blasting Station triggers, untapping itself.
  6. When the creature token enters, that same effect causes you to place at least one +1/+1 counter on it.
  7. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing the creature token.
  8. When the creature token dies, Host of the Hereafter triggers, putting at least one +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth
  9. Repeat steps 3 through 5 once.
  10. Resolve the Blasting Station ability.
  11. Repeat from step 7.
