How it works

1. Activate Kumena's first ability by tapping another nontoken Merfolk you control.
2. Deeproot Pilgrimage triggers, creating a 1/1 Merfolk creature token.
3. When the Merfolk enters, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
4. Resolve the Kumena ability.
5. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing the Merfolk token.
6. When the Merfolk dies, Faces of the Past triggers, untapping all Merfolk.
7. Resolve the Blasting Station ability.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca into an engine of endless aquatic replication by utilizing Deeproot Pilgrimage to replace every tapped nontoken Merfolk with a fresh 1/1 token. As those tokens enter the fray, Blasting Station cheerfully untaps itself to receive them, letting you sacrifice the newly minted fishfolk to ping away at any target. Whenever a creature dies in the process, Faces of the Past triggers to untap all your Merfolk, resetting your board so Kumena and company can start the cycle all over again.
