How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing another nontoken creature without a -1/-1 counter on it.
2. When the creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Solemnity.
3. When the creature enters, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
4. Resolve the Blasting Station ability.
5. Repeat.

This loop transforms Isilu, Carrier of Twilight's generous granting of persist into an engine for endless destruction, neatly circumventing the mechanic's usual drawback thanks to Solemnity's static ability preventing -1/-1 counters from ever being placed on your creatures. You simply sacrifice a nontoken creature to Blasting Station to deal a point of damage, letting the persist trigger bring it right back without a counter. Because Blasting Station untaps itself whenever any creature enters the battlefield, you can repeat this sacrifice ad infinitum, turning Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn's flip side into a lethal machine gun for any target you choose.
