How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Metalwork Colossus, dealing 1 damage to Smaug.
2. Smaug triggers, creating two artifact tokens due to Elspeth, Storm Slayer.
3. Activate Metalwork Colossus by sacrificing the two artifact tokens, returning Metalwork Colossus from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Cast Metalwork Colossus by paying 0.
5. When Metalwork Colossus enters, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
6. Repeat.

This loop turns a dragon's hoard into a legendary engine of destruction by putting every piece of the puzzle into motion. Blasting Station acts as our ultimate outlet, launching Metalwork Colossus at Smaug the Impenetrable, which in turn fires off Smaug's noncombat damage trigger to generate Treasure tokens. Thanks to Elspeth, Storm Slayer sitting quietly on the battlefield to double our token creation, that single ping yields twice the plunder. We then cash in those tokens to fuel Metalwork Colossus's own recursion ability, bringing it right back to our hand so we can recast it for free using its cost-reduction ability. Every time the Colossus re-enters, Blasting Station untaps itself, letting us repeat the whole deadly cycle indefinitely.
