How it works

1. Cast Ephemerate by paying , blinking Karmic Guide.
2. Karmic Guide enters the battlefield, triggering itself, Preston and Blasting Station.
3. Resolve the Karmic Guide trigger, returning any creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Blasting Station trigger, untapping it.
5. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Karmic Guide, dealing 1 damage to any target.
6. Resolve the Preston trigger from step 2, creating a token copy of Karmic Guide that is a 0/1 white Illusion.
7. The Karmic Guide token enters the battlefield, triggering itself and Blasting Station.
8. Resolve the Karmic Guide token's trigger, returning the nontoken Karmic Guide from your graveyard to the battlefield.
9. Repeat from step 2.

This loop uses Karmic Guide as a recurrent resurrection engine, continuously pulling itself or other threats from the graveyard whenever it enters the battlefield. Preston, the Vanisher acts as a clever catalyst, turning every non-cast entry of Karmic Guide into a 0/1 Illusion copy that keeps the recursion going without needing extra mana. Meanwhile, Blasting Station provides both the sacrifice outlet to send Karmic Guide back to the grave and the win condition, untapping on every entry to convert your infinite cycle into lethal damage. Ephemerate simply gets the party started by kicking off the initial blink, leaving the rest of the machinery to self-sustain endlessly.
