How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Lesser Masticore.
2. When Lesser Masticore dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Melira.
3. When Lesser Masticore enters, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station
4. Resolve the Blasting Station ability from step 1
5. Repeat.

This classic loop turns an ordinary insect into an infinite artillery strike by weaponizing the rules of resurrection and damage. When you sacrifice Lesser Masticore to Blasting Station, the little robot heads to the graveyard, but its persist ability normally brings it back with a -1/-1 counter; however, Melira, Sylvok Outcast steps in with her static ability to completely prevent those counters from ever being placed. Because Lesser Masticore returns completely clean, Blasting Station triggers its own untap ability upon the creature's entry, allowing you to immediately repeat the cycle for infinite sacrifice, damage, and death triggers.
