How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Melira.
2. When Melira dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its static effect.
3. When Melira enters, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
4. Resolve the Blasting Station ability from step 1.
5. Repeat.

This looping execution relies on Isilu, Carrier of Twilight—the night-facing side of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn—to grant your other nontoken creatures persist, while Melira, Sylvok Outcast steps in with her crucial static ability to prevent -1/-1 counters from ever being placed on your creatures. Because Melira negates the drawback of persist, sacrificing her to Blasting Station causes her to return to the battlefield endlessly. Every time she re-enters, Blasting Station's triggered ability untaps itself, allowing you to repeat the sacrifice and continuously deal infinite damage to any target.
