Blasting Station

How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing the creature with persist.
2. The persist ability triggers, returning that creature to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it, as well as a +1/+1 counter due to Gev.
3. The +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters on that creature are removed as a state-based action.
4. When that creature enters, Blasting Station triggers, untapping itself.
5. Resolve the ability from step 1, dealing 1 damage to any target.
6. Repeat.

This loop turns a creature with persist into an endless engine of destruction by letting Blasting Station sacrifice it over and over again. Every time the creature returns from the graveyard, Gev, Scaled Scorch steps in to grant it a compensating +1/+1 counter that instantly neutralizes its new -1/+1 counter through state-based actions. Meanwhile, Blasting Station's untap trigger resets the artifact with every single entry, fueling a seamless cycle that converts endless sacrifices into infinite damage for any target.
