How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Priest of Gix.
2. When Priest of Gix dies, Fumulus's first ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Insect creature token.
3. When the Insect enters the battlefield, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
4. Resolve the Blasting Station ability from step 1, dealing 1 damage to any target.
5. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying EEE, sacrificing the Insect and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning Priest of Gix from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it and Blasting Station trigger.
7. Resolve the Priest of Gix trigger, adding .
8. Resolve the Blasting Station trigger, untapping it.
9. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying 1.
10. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get EEE.
11. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Chthonian Nightmare into a recurring engine by leveraging Priest of Gix to repeatedly generate the black mana needed to recast the enchantment while supplying the necessary energy counters. Meanwhile, Blasting Station provides both the sacrifice outlet and a win condition that automatically untaps itself whenever creatures enter, turning the constant cycling of bodies into lethal damage. To fuel this cycle without running out of sacrifices, Fumulus, the Infestation steps in by turning every sacrificed creature into a replacement Insect token that keeps the Blasting Station untapping and the engine humming indefinitely.
