How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Lesser Masticore.
2. When Lesser Masticore dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Lesser Masticore enters, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
4. Resolve the Blasting Station ability from step 1.
5. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Lesser Masticore.
6. When Lesser Masticore dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
7. When Lesser Masticore enters, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
8. Resolve the Blasting Station ability from step 5.
9. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on a clever mechanical interaction between opposing counter mechanics to continually sacrifice and recycle your resources. When Mikaeus, the Unhallowed grants undying to your non-Human creatures, it offsets the native persist ability on Lesser Masticore; because creatures enter with a +1/+1 counter on the undying resurrection and a -1/-1 counter on the persist resurrection, these two state-based triggers neatly cancel each other out over successive iterations. Blasting Station serves as the engine for this continuous cycle, using its sacrifice outlet to trigger the creature's return while its own untap ability resets itself with every new entry. The result is an endless barrage of damage and sacrifice triggers that will quickly overwhelm your opponents.
