How it works

1. Move to your cleanup step.
2. Discard down to your maximum hand size, ensuring to discard Basking Rootwalla.
3. Basking Rootwalla is discarded into exile, triggering its madness ability, causing you to pay 0 to cast it from exile.
4. When Basking Rootwalla enters the battlefield, Blasting Station triggers, untapping itself.
5. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Basking Rootwalla.
6. When Basking Rootwalla dies, Enduring Renewal triggers, returning Basking Rootwalla from your graveyard to your hand.
7. Resolve the Blasting Station ability, dealing 1 damage to any target.
8. Once the stack is empty and all players pass priority, another cleanup step occurs.
9. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop harnesses the unique cleanup step mechanics to turn an ordinary discard into an infinite artillery strike. By discarding Basking Rootwalla to your maximum hand size, its madness ability allows you to cast it for zero mana, immediately triggering Blasting Station to untap itself. You then sacrifice the newly arrived Basking Rootwalla to Blasting Station to deal damage, which sends the creature straight to the graveyard instead of your hand thanks to Enduring Renewal's replacement effect. Enduring Renewal steps in once more to instantly return the creature to your hand, allowing you to cycle right back into the cleanup step and repeat the whole process until your opponents are entirely decimated.
