How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Selfless Police Captain.
2. When Selfless Police Captain dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its replacement effect.
3. When Selfless Police Captain enters, Blasting Station trigger, untapping Blasting Station.
4. Resolve the Blasting Station ability from step 1.
5. Repeat.

This loop relies on Isilu, Carrier of Twilight's passive grant of persist to keep returning Selfless Police Captain to the battlefield every time it is sacrificed. Each time Selfless Police Captain enters the battlefield, Blasting Station untaps thanks to its own triggered ability, ready to be tapped again to hurl the creature at any target. Crucially, because Selfless Police Captain enters with a +1/+1 counter that gets transferred to another creature upon leaving the battlefield, it never retains the -1/-1 counter from persist—allowing the cycle to repeat indefinitely. Meanwhile, Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn sits on the reverse side of the card, ready to facilitate creature spells with convoke whenever you need to start the engine.
