How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Metalwork Colossus, dealing 1 damage to Smaug.
2. Smaug triggers, creating two artifact tokens due to Adrix and Nev.
3. Activate Metalwork Colossus by sacrificing the two artifact tokens, returning Metalwork Colossus from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Cast Metalwork Colossus by paying 0.
5. When Metalwork Colossus enters, Blasting Station triggers, untapping Blasting Station.
6. Repeat.

This looping engine relies on Blasting Station as both the sacrificial outlet and the damage source, turning its ping into the noncombat damage that triggers Smaug the Impenetrable to hoard wealth. Because Adrix and Nev, Twincasters doubles every token generated, that single damage instance yields a pair of Treasure tokens instead of just one. Those very same tokens are then fed right back into Metalwork Colossus's ability to pull it from the graveyard straight to your hand, allowing you to recast it for free thanks to the mana value discount provided by having noncreature artifacts on your board. Finally, whenever Metalwork Colossus re-enters the battlefield, Blasting Station’s triggered ability untaps the station so you can repeat the execution indefinitely.
