How it works

1. Activate Basalt Monolith's first ability by tapping it, adding CCC. Relic Putrescence triggers.
2. Holding priority, activate Basalt Monolith's second ability by paying 3, untapping it.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 eight additional times, and then repeat step 1 once. This will result in a total of ten Relic Putrescence triggers.
4. Holding priority, activate Coveted Falcon's disguise ability by paying 1, turning it face up.
5. Coveted Falcon triggers, giving control of Basalt Monolith to an opponent and causing you to draw a card.
6. Resolve all Relic Putrescence triggers, causing the opponent who controls it to get ten poison counters. They will then lose the game as a state-based action.

This ingenious win condition relies on loading up an opponent with lethal poison counters using their own gear. By rapidly tapping and untapping Basalt Monolith, you generate a massive stack of triggers from Relic Putrescence, which is enchanted directly to the artifact to poison its controller every time it taps. Meanwhile, Coveted Falcon is turned face up using its disguise ability to quietly hand over ownership of the active Basalt Monolith to your victim just in time. When all those stacked poison triggers finally resolve, your opponent receives ten poison counters and immediately loses the game!
