How it works

  1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Golgari Thug.
  2. When Golgari Thug dies, it and Moldervine Reclamation trigger.
  3. Resolve the Golgari Thug trigger, putting it on top of your library from your graveyard.
  4. Resolve the Moldervine Reclamation trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and draw Golgari Thug from the top of your library.
  5. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 1, causing target player to mill cards equal to Golgari Thug's power.
  6. Cast Golgari Thug by paying 0 due to Aluren.
  7. Repeat.
