How it works

1. Activate Goblin Medics by tapping it, adding .
2. Goblin Medics triggers, dealing 1 damage to any target.
3. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping Goblin Medics.
4. Repeat.

This delightful loop transforms our favorite clumsy goblin into a devastating sniper by wrapping together several clever pieces. With Cryptolith Rite granting every creature the ability to tap for mana, Goblin Medics suddenly gains the power to fund its own magical mishaps. You simply tap the Medics for blue mana—triggering its ping ability to deal 1 damage to any target—and then use that very mana to activate Freed from the Real to untap it. Because the untap cost is just one blue mana while generating that exact same mana through the Rite, you can repeat this ping-and-untap sequence indefinitely to clear the board and incinerate your opponents.
