Solar Array + Freed from the Real + March of the Machines
How it works
- Cast Freed from the Real by paying its mana cost, attaching it to Solar Array.
- Activate Solar Array by tapping it, adding and causing the next artifact spell you cast this turn to have sunburst.
- Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping Solar Array.
- Repeat from step 2 as desired.
- Cast any artifact spell, triggering its sunburst ability an infinite number of times, either putting infinite +1/+1 counters on charge counters on the artifact.
This loop is a masterclass in turning static rules into explosive potential, transforming a simple mana dork into an engine for infinite resources. The secret lies in March of the Machines, which breathes life into our noncreature artifacts by turning them into artifact creatures with a power and toughness equal to their mana value—most importantly converting Solar Array itself into an eligible creature. Once the Array can be tapped and untrapped, Freed from the Real steps in to provide the necessary untap capability, consuming the blue mana generated by Solar Array's tap ability to feed itself infinitely. Because the Array's mana production is tied directly to its tap ability, you can generate as much blue mana as you desire, while simultaneously stacking up an infinite number of sunburst triggers for whenever you finally cast an artifact spell.
