How it works

1. Activate Tui and La by tapping it, adding .
2. Tui and La's first ability triggers, causing you to draw a card.
3. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping Tui and La.
4. Tui and La's second ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat.

This elegant little loop turns Tui and La, Moon and Ocean into a self-sustaining engine by utilizing their own activated ability alongside Freed from the Real to perpetually bounce between tapped and untapped states. Because A Realm Reborn grants every permanent you control a mana-generating tap ability, Tui and La can pay for their own untap costs while simultaneously triggering card draws on every tap and growing larger with a +1/+1 counter on every untap. It is a wonderfully cohesive sequence that lets you dig through your entire deck while continuously pumping up your creatures in formats like commander, legacy, oathbreaker, and vintage.
