How it works

1. Play Rakdos Carnarium.
2. When Rakdos Carnarium enters the battlefield, it and Evolution Sage trigger.
3. Resolve the Rakdos Carnarium trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Evolution Sage trigger, putting a charge counter on Magistrate's Scepter.
5. Repeat from step 1 until Magistrate's Scepter has four or more charge counters on it.
6. Activate Magistrate's Scepter's second ability by tapping it and removing three charge counters from it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
7. Repeat each turn.

This clever loop turns the self-bouncing nature of Rakdos Carnarium into an engine for infinite turns. Azusa, Lost but Seeking provides the crucial extra land drops needed to replay the same Rakdos Carnarium over and over again on a single turn. Each time that land enters the battlefield, Evolution Sage triggers its landfall ability to proliferate, rapidly stacking charge counters onto Magistrate's Scepter. Once the scepter has enough counters, you simply crack it to take an extra turn, untap your permanents, and repeat the whole process until you control the game entirely.
