How it works
Play Orzhov Basilica.
When Orzhov Basilica enters the battlefield, it and Evolution Sage trigger.
Resolve the Orzhov Basilica trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
Resolve the Evolution Sage trigger, putting a charge counter on Magistrate's Scepter.
Repeat from step 1 until Magistrate's Scepter has four or more charge counters on it.
Activate Magistrate's Scepter's second ability by tapping it and removing three charge counters from it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
Repeat each turn.
This ingenious loop turns the humble bounce land Orzhov Basilica into an engine for infinite turns, leaning entirely on the sheer speed of land-drop manipulation. By leveraging Azusa, Lost but Seeking, you can replay the same Orzhov Basilica turn after turn, triggering Evolution Sage's landfall ability repeatedly to continuously proliferate charge counters onto Magistrate's Scepter. Once the scepter accumulates enough counters, you simply cash them in for an extra turn, letting you untap and repeat the entire sequence indefinitely until your opponents are hopelessly locked out of the game.
