How it works
- Activate Kydele by tapping it, adding at least CCC
- Activate Magus of the Candelabra by paying 2 and tapping it, untapping it and Kydele.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns your entire board into a boundless mana engine by weaving together type-changing permanence and active battlefield manipulation. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild does the heavy lifting by making every nontoken creature you control a Forest land in addition to its other types, which immediately turns Magus of the Candelabra and Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix into lands that can be untapped by the Magus's own ability. Once Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix has tapped for at least three colorless mana—easily fueled by drawing cards earlier in the turn—you simply use a portion of that floating mana to pay into Magus of the Candelabra's activation cost, untapping both creatures to repeat the cycle as many times as you desire.
