How it works

1. Create a creature token that is a Human and/or Shaman, and/or has changeling.
2. Activate Ghired by tapping it, creating a copy of the creature token.
3. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing the creature token created in step 2, adding .
4. When the creature token dies, Faces of the Past triggers, untapping all creatures that share a creature type with it.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This delightful loop relies on a shared creature type—like Human or Shaman—to turn a single token into an engine of continuous creation and sacrifice. Once you have an eligible token on the board, you use Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds to tap and clone it, then feed that fresh copy straight to Thermopod to generate red mana. The death of that token triggers Faces of the Past, which untaps all creatures sharing its type—including Ghired himself. This readies your tapped copy-maker to go again instantly, fueling infinite sacrifices, death triggers, and a surplus of red mana.
