How it works

1. Create a creature token that is a Human and/or Shaman, and/or has changeling.
2. Activate Ghired by tapping it, creating a copy of the creature token.
3. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing the creature token created in step 2.
4. When the creature token dies, Faces of the Past triggers, untapping all creatures that share a creature type with it.
5. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to the sacrificed creature's power.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This loop turns a single shared creature type into a relentless mill engine by leveraging Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds to continuously churn out token copies of an eligible creature. When you feed that fresh copy to Altar of Dementia, its death triggers Faces of the Past to untap all creatures sharing that creature type, which neatly refreshes Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds so you can tap it to repeat the process all over again.
